THE DESTROYER - Be My Fuckin Digga (Protracker overview)
In Amiga, since the beginning of my producer career, I have always composed with the tracker OKTALYZER 1.57.
Its main feature compared to other Amiga trackers is that it sacrifices half of the sample volume to achieve 8 channels (most other Amiga trackers use 4 because the Amiga sound chip supports 4 channels).
I have to say that this limitation later worked in my favor when I had to prepare live acts. I found various tracks with the same speed, so I could easily put them together.
Anyway, I just wanted to make a track with PROTRACKER once and choose the exact BPM speed. I decided to do a 230 BPM track; this was my first PROTRACKER track.

with OKTALYZER you just need to turn up the volume in your mixer???
yeah if you work in 8 channel mode you actually have to keep an hand on the mixer since when you sample you hear it the signal with the normal range and when you switch it to 8/B mode it halves the volume..

having so little channels to work with honestly works so well with speedcore, all you really need is some drums (mostly kicks) and a good melody to make a whole song. genius

No, è protracker, esiste un clone per pc che funziona molto bene, l'unica cosa che manca è il campionamento analogico che si fà con i sampler nell'amiga reale. Fra l'altro è anche il motivo del perchè la continuo ad usare.. Comunque puoi scaricarlo qui: 16-bits.org/pt2.php
